The Voltage in South Africa ranges from 220v-240v. The type of plugs vary from each place you will stay so a Universal Adapter that allows you to use 2-pin & 3-pin style plugs is best. Make sure that any appliances/electronics that you bring to SA can operate on 220 volts.

Plettenberg Bay is located in the Southern area of the Western Cape region. This is also known as the Garden Route and is very popular with South Africa residents as well as tourists. This is a beautiful area with stunning nature, scenery, animal sanctuaries, Blue Flag beaches and many wineries to choose from! There is no shortage of things to do and the biggest mistake people make is not planning to spend enough time here!
